Unique object IDs, for debugging.

Sourcetype t

A unique ID which can be attached to objects to aid debugging.

Sourceval next : unit -> t

next () is a fresh ID, unique since the last reset.

Reset the counter. Possibly useful in unit or fuzz tests.
